Option 1: Tune Up Sessions. With this follow on option, 45-minute tune-up sessions are scheduled on a regular basis, often quarterly, for the purposes of building on the initial coaching sessions. Between tune-up sessions, you keep track of the items you want to discuss and together we will come up with an agenda prior to each session. Sessions can be used to review progress, revise your strategic plan, brainstorm, and address new topics and issues. A summarizing e-mail follows each session. Separate and apart from our coaching programs, Whittier Legal Consulting offers discounted bundles of hours that clients can purchase at any time and use any way they desire. Bundles of hours can cover everything from a 20-minute call with a lawyer to review and revise his or her biographical information to a 60-minute call with a practice group leader to discuss practice expansion to a 90-minute call with a team of lawyers to discuss a marketing event. Clients frequently opt for ultimate flexibility in a follow on program by purchasing a bundle of hours that is made available to attorneys who have graduated from the initial coaching program; they can then use the hours as desired, at any time, and in any increment. This can be very cost effective for larger groups. Bundles of hours range from a 10-hour bundle to a 150-hour bundle, with progressively higher discounts available for increasingly larger bundles. Our Level 2 programs are designed for attorneys who have graduated from our one-on-one or small group coaching programs, or who already possess solid business development and marketing experience and knowledge. These are intensive programs on specific topics that are available only for a limited time; they are continually changed and updated so that the most current market information and trends are addressed. Recent Level 2 offerings have included “Billing Rates and Selling” and “Dealing with the Non-Responsive Target.” Our Level 2 programs are available in modules (a module is comprised of 1-3 sessions). Each session is 60 minutes long because of the intensity and depth of the material covered. Most programs are available on an individual or small group basis.
